Under the theme \u201cBetter Health For All In A Changing World\u201d<\/em>, the European Congress on Tropical Medicine and International Health (ECTMIH) celebrated their 30th anniversary in Hamburg<\/strong>, Netherlands, on 29 September-2 October 2025. The event brought together over 1,000 participants \u2014 researchers, clinicians, and public health experts \u2014 from across the globe to share knowledge and strategies to address some of today\u2019s most pressing health challenges, including Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BLMs4BU Consortium was proud to present its latest laboratory, social, and clinical research on Buruli ulcer. During the Congress, consortium members shared updates from the ongoing clinical trial aimed at shortening Buruli ulcer treatment.<\/strong> In addition, the team presented protocols exploring access barriers, treatment adherence, and patient-reported outcomes, highlighting the consortium\u2019s multidisciplinary approach to improving both therapeutic outcomes and patient experience. <\/p>\n\n\n

The active participation of BLMs4BU partners at ECTMIH 2025 reflects a strong, shared commitment to advancing Buruli ulcer treatment and patient care. It also underscores the consortium\u2019s commitment to advancing global research efforts <\/strong>to tackle neglected diseases and promote equitable health for all.<\/p>\n\n\n
